I have a 2020 Tam 3500 and need to extend the XM antenna because after installing Truck camper it hangs over cab and blocks signal. There is a connection at driver side fore post and I am looking for some help on adding a remote antenna that I could installing top of camper when in use . I have looked everywhere and cannot find a way.
This is the connector at passenger door post .

I'm in the same situation. 2020 Ram 3500 with 12" screen. Can sort of get XM when heading South with truck camper on, any other direction is bad. I'd like to put a "Tee" at the connector you're holding, and add a second cable+antenna that I will mount on a plate that will stick out in front of the hood. When I take the camper off, I would store the second antenna under the hood and the normal antenna would pick up the signal. When the camper is on and blocks the normal antenna, then I mount the second antenna in it's spot sticking out from the hood.

I really don't want to access the connector you're holding every time I want to switch antennas.

Haven't researched enough to figure out how to do it yet.

Hi, Guys:

I have a 2021 Ram 1500 and I'm trying to figure this out as well but for a different reason. I couldn't fit my truck in the garage with the original sharkfin antenna. I replaced it with a smaller "puck" style and then just plugged the original antenna into the connection at the passenger kick panel and moved it under the dash. I've researched the cables as well and did find this older publication that may help you. Some of these part numbers are available online:

Here's the specific jumper I'm looking at:

I am actually trying to find a jumper for the white cable that accompanies the blue one in my stock antenna. In my truck, the bluce connector plugs back in at the kick panel but the white connector will not. The male / female ends appear slightly different. The cable I'm referring to is attached.

Good luck. Let me know what you come up with and if you happen to have an idea on this white cable.

Best,

Ross

I hate the location of the antenna. I want to add a level kit and 35s but the darn shark fin creates a height issue for my garage.

I know it’s been awhile but did any of you ever figure this out? I have 2021 1500 with the same truck camper issue (clearance issue too)

@HvyDuty

Here you go guys. I would unplug your current antennae, and hook in this for trips. Should work.

Looks like you need a FAKRA B plug. Buy that, get the same gauge wire, and you can make your own jumper for cheap.
