Can a truck 3.21 gears run 34" tires without gear hunting at freeway speeds?

Considering 34" tires and would like to know this question. Currently running 33"(275/60/20) and would like just a bit taller, looking at the 34" (275/65/20)...but if it causes the truck to gear seek I would rather stick with the 33's...

I ran 285/65r20's with 3.21's no problem. Pulled a 6000lb camper with no issues.

did you ever decide to switch to 34" tires? If so, did you have issues with the truck hunting gears? I'm on the fence between a 275/60/20 and a 275/65/20

I did switch to 34's (275-65-20)

At highway or interstate speeds the truck seems to function as normal...will stay in 8th gear, but will gear down to 7th on any incline to maintain speed..
I do t see any "gear hunting"....seems to cruise along just fine

Which tires did you go with? Also how’s the MPG compared to 33’s?

Same....both the 33's and 34"s dropped from the stock 32's
