Front bench armrest squeak fixed

Found that pesky squeaky spot lol. Stuck some small felt pads on the area. Can also be done on the passenger side.

You must have read my mind as I was rolling along today and that’s all that I could hear ha ha ha..
 
My wife’s like just leave the center seat up, huh what ? Lol...
 
She knows if I “ lean “ that truck is flipping over ha ha ha ha ha.
 
LOL so you need the armrest to you are balanced towards the center. I know, that's how i'm built haha!
 
Mine is squeaking real bad. I have the center console not the bench seating. Do you have a better picture to show where thats at?
 
That's where the armrest cover folds down to close. The squeak is vinyl rubbing on vinyl. So that's what I would look for.

I picked up some 'fabric repair' tape for a few bucks. Cut two tiny pieces for each side and that did the trick. It is those two surfaces rubbing together. Just a shame FCA can't seem to figure this out before production. I'd wager this will be an issue on the 2028 Ram 1500 :ROFLMAO:
