Hey,

Just like the title says, if my truck sits for 2 to 3 days the tires are seem to go of round and the truck shakes like the wheels are not balanced. After 2-3mi it seems to stop. Does this happen to anyone else?
I see alot of complaints about the stock tires but haven't noticed anyone mention this.

Haven't noticed that on my 2020. Assuming that your tire pressure is at the recommend PSI.

I wonder if that's more prone with worn tires? All those heat cycles and wear seem to make older tires hard and generally less than ideal especially in colder temps. Add to that lower profile sidewalls and there's even less compromise. Those 22" might be another of those trophy-girl aesthetics over function trade-offs.

Not a huge fan of the GY Touring they put on these trucks. I had to replace @ 14K miles. They ride nice, and seem to "stick" when brand new - and go downhill from there (then again - so does every tire, but I found the GY's to go south faster than others).

I typically run Michelin Premiers (which I replaced the GY's on this truck) - and recently pop'd one and replaced with a Defender model (same tread pattern - higher wear index).

I've gotten "weird shakes" on perfectly balanced setups in this truck - and one would think, if it was a wheel/tire out of whack - it would do the same thing consistently, at the same speed.

I've just written it off as "weird pickup truck anomaly" - I'm used to SUV's that drive like cars - and while the Ram Limited is the best riding of pickups I drove - it's STILL A PICKUP TRUCK...

YMMV...

Rick

Looks like the new trucks are coming with 22in Bridgestone. I wonder if they noticed an issue...
