Is this what I can expect to pay for a 2020 Rebel?

I visited a RAM dealer this evening and test drove a Rebel. I love the truck but the price I was quoted seems high now that we're at the end of the year and considering the options on the truck. The dealer had 5-6 2020 Rebels on the lot. The truck I test drove was pretty basic compared to most of them I see for sale: 4x4 two-tone hydro blue, non-etorque hemi, Rebel Level 1 equipment group, 8.4 inch display with nav, vinyl/cloth seats, remote start, and trailer brake control. Those are pretty much the exact options I want minus the two-tone hydro blue and nav (although I prefer the 8.4 inch screen). Leather seats would be great but not a deal breaker. I was quoted $55k OTD. Is this what I can expect to pay for this truck with these options? Can I do better than that? Any suggestions?

Thanks

This is available where I bought my truck. $49kand change. Level 2 Hemi Crew Rebel. The prices are true. I did $1k better with conquest incentive.

55k was the sticker or their offer?

Also Kernsville ram, NC, a little closer to you With free 300 miles of shipping . They have 20 in stock. They will do it all over the phone too. They have this for $45k. Monotone, level 1 Hemi. Quad

and crew for $46k https://www.31dodge.com/new/Ram/2020-Ram-1500-kernersville-33dc775f0a0e0a176a8d7b3802766f72.htm

i almost bought from them but could not travel there when I was in the market due to Covid Without a 2 week unpaid vacation.

Seems high but tough to say. What’s the msrp on the truck? What are they offering you off that? Do you have a trade in and if so, what’s the offer on that? There’s a lot of different variables that can affect whether it’s a good deal or not. If you have doubts, shop around.

MSRP is right at $55k. I qualified for a $1500 rebate and $2500 discount. We didn’t discuss or figure in a trade in. The $55k out the door figure is an estimate but the salesman said it should be pretty close.

Unless Rebels are real hard to come by near you I’d say this isn’t much of a deal at all.

Doesn’t sound like a great deal. Would be okay if you were getting one of the first 2021s to roll onto the lot but for 2020 you should be able to do quite a bit better.

Wherever you go, ask for an itemized OTD statement in writing. That way, you know exactly what you are paying for. When I ordered my '21 they shot me an OTD price, and when I asked for an itemized statement - they were reluctant to give it to me, but once I got it, I could see they were trying to burry some add-on garbage I didn't want, like a $400 windshield security etch, and a bed cover.

Its not a deal until its more then 20% off msrp

No deal - that price seems high. I just bought and my sticker was $55K. Very similar to yours but also had leather seats. I ended at $49K
