Has anyone looked into a stronger set of LED for the upper and lower light stripping on the front light housings? The stock ones work fine at night but I cannot see them at all during the day. I love the look of the 2500 lights during the day but the 1500 just never seem to get bright enough. Any advice or links for products and install would be great.

You are right as I never knew those lit up.

If you don't have the Limited model, these DRL Light Board kits from Diode Dynamics will "fix" this issue.

They are not DRLs per se, I believe Ram calls them “accent lights“ or something like that. Agreed, they are pretty hard to see during the day. But I kinda like that... they are discreet

That is correct. According to the manual, the actual DRLs are the low beam headlights, I believe operating at reduced power. They are activated/de-activated via the U-Connect System.

That would all make sense. I could not find where they were labeled as the accent lights so thank you for clarifying that. When I turn on the option for drl the actual main light comes on instead of the accents. I would love to not have to rebuild the housing for a little extra light. Thank you all for your help.

That's a cool solution. And I like that you choose from several colors. But it seems like a lot of work and money for something you'll never notice from the driver seat. Maybe if I was building a show truck.
