Has anyone found a way other than going through the front wheel wells to replace low beam halogen headlights? Went to install some new Beamtech LED bulbs but can't even get my hand near the dust covers...

Headlight replacement

On my 4th gen I just removed the headlight housings. I couldn't fit my hand in the openings enough to change the bulbs. Not sure how much work is involved in doing that on a 5th gen though. You might try looking for a youtube video on it.
I had to replace a burnt out bulb just the other day in my partners 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it was a PITA. The Jeeps also have the “access panels” in the front wheel well liners, but they offer no help.
Based on many YouTube videos, Ended up having to remove the entire air filter box to gain access, and it was still tight and difficult. Found out after the fact that the “easy” way to do it is to remove the entire front bumper and grille so you can remove the headlight housings. Great design award goes to....
I miss my 3rd gen 2008 Ram...super easy to remove the housings to change a bulb. All of the screws were visible and easy to access/remove. I could have both lights done in less than 10 minutes. Guess those days are gone...

I both went through the wheel wells and the hood. Removed the air box on the passengers side and two ground wires on the drivers side. It still sucked, but this way I could get two hands in there to help remove the connector and reconnect it. It can be done from the top but it is tight.

Wow, that's a lot of work just for a headlight bulb. I'll try the wheel well I guess...before removing anything else. I remember our 2005 GC Hemi...the only way to replace the headlights was to remove the bulb assembly...same with my 2014 F150...smh.

The air box pops right out, but there are metal hydraulic lines close to the dust cap. Removing the two grounds helps, but there is still a large wire harness that's mostly in the way. Headlight Revolution has a couple of videos with them changing from the engine compartment. It is more involved than they make it out to be, just because of how tight it is. All of the cussing has been edited out.
