I'll start this show.
I hate the thin metal of the bed floor. Mine is not lined only painted.
Today I got a small dorm size fridge (NIB) and the box slipped outta my hand landed on the corner. Result dent in bed floor.
The hood and tailgate are hard to shut. I don't like slamming doors to get them to close. Everytime I have to open them seems like I have to slam them shut.

Black 20 Ram

Should have came with at least a 33" tire, like the previous two generations. But that's pretty easy to fix.

This x one million... that badge should have been put down below where it says R A M on the door. Like the 4th gens...
It’s an eye sore to me, although with time I guess I’ll get used to it.
I don't like that badge location either. I'm hoping to see aftermarket replacements soon, like vents or shark gills. Might just have to bite the bullet and get a 3-D printer

The TITAN'S had that logo there for YEARS, Finally, the move it off the hoor and low on the door. Hate the look too.

Over the past several years I’ve owned Ram Gen 4, F-150, Silverado, and now a Ram Gen 5. I have not found the Gen 5 to have thin bed metal. Actually the F-150 was probably the thinnest. Nonetheless, I feel that if you would’ve drop a small fridge on any unprotected bed, then the results would’ve been the same...

Yeah, I agree, you have to slam the tailgate pretty hard, especially the MFT, to get the cargo light to go out.

My Rebel has OEM DuraTrac 275/70/18 (33.2”)

OK, here’s my complaint, albeit nitpicking, the soft plastic bed rail and tailgate covers. You can literally scuff the material w/the palm of your hand, which I’ve done. Good news, it’s replaceable, but that’s some cheapazz plastic. In all fairness, those covers weren’t that great on my previous trucks either, but the Gen 5 is definitely the worse.

Sport hood vents aren’t real

poor paint
charge over $200 for a bed step!
Poor oil filter location.

what is with the gold trim interior color

or the fake wood look on the center or doors?

I have the 4 corner air and why doesn’t it go to entry/exit when you put it in park (my grand Cherokee did)

Dumb question first... do you have it setup/turned on to do it in the UConnect settings? Easy entry/exit mode or something to that effect.

Only one thing I find annoying...
No auto-folding mirrors when I put it into Park, auto-unfolding when I put it into any other gear.
The Grand Cherokees do it, so I know its just a programming thing that they didn't add.
Not a big deal. Just annoying.

1. A/C performance
2. Wind noise
3. No door unlock on approach with FOB
4. Tilt steering not tilting down as far as it did on 4th gen
5. Seat comfort on long road trips

I've got the cloth seats....not as comfortable as Ford's. Oh..and lack of ground clearance from factory compared to Ford. But other than that I like my Ram lol.

We just did a 3000 mile road trip in the cloth seats. Super comfy, didn’t even feel the miles. In fact we felt fine after a full day of driving. I like them a bunch

Love my Ram!!

1. Volume knob to close to Shift knob
2. Had to install a lip on tailgate so when people open tailgate, they don't scratch the paint. Can't police everybody, so now there is no contact with paint with the lip.
3. Had to do the AC hack, that is just crazy I had to do that to a 55K truck in 2019.
4. Steps in rear bumper like other trucks.
5. SRT 480 Hp engine option,
But I abosolutly love this truck and even with those little nags, I wouldn't drive a different one.

TRX incoming!!

Actually, the "deluxe" cloth seats are more comfortable than any other brand (well, the Titan had nice seating and soft fabric)

My truck came stock with a 23 gallon fuel tank. Too small. My bad for not noticing at the time of purchase.
Rambox lid alignment issues.
Auto tilt in reverse tilts too much and can't make just one mirror tilt.
Auto-dimming headlights are too sensitive.

Other than those small annoyances I love the truck. My list of things I love about my 5th gen would be much longer. I've been fortunate not to have some of the more major problems people are seeing.

I've had mine for coming up on 2 years.
  • The interior dash light sensor dims the lights way too eagerly
  • I miss my old Azera's feature of folding the mirrors in if you hit the lock button on the fob twice
  • The V6 was a poor choice for my loaded Longhorn, especially in the rolling hills here
  • I've been too lazily to have it fixed at the dealership, but the USB panel in the dash is faulty and sometimes I have to plug/unplug the USB cable several times for it to register
  • I didn't get either the bed step or extender pegs that I paid for when I picked up my truck in 2018 and the dealership ghosted me when I repeatedly followed up about them
  • I'm a bit peeved that I had to install weather stripping at the tailgate to reduce water leaks there with my Retrax tonneau cover, due to the Rambox design
Besides all those minor issues, it's been a trouble free ride. My AC isn't "ice" cold, but is more than cold enough for my tastes, and I haven't had any of the other major issues that crop up on the forums.

- I don't like the hood emblems
- I don't like all the chrome (but this was what the great lease deals were on, and that's totally personal preference)
- Power fold mirrors should auto-fold/unfold when parked/started
- All push button start vehicles should have the ability to unlock/lock without digging the fob out of my pocket
- The halogen headlights are ugly. LEDs should be standard (like my wife's Cherokee)
- The plastic on the tailgate should extend farther down to avoid fingerprints/scratches
- My Charger was smart enough to not dim the interior lights when the headlights came on w/ wipers, but it's still very bright out. (But my wife's Cherokee sucks in this regard too)

Besides those relatively minor items, this truck is great.

I absolutely love my truck. Two things, the trailer tow mirrors need to power fold to get in the garage this is a pain. I have heard they are finally going to fix that next year. Also I too have some trouble with the tailgate. Sometimes it wont open I have to shove really hard on it to get it to open. Of course the dealer couldnt duplicate it, and many times I have to really slam it to get the light to go off. Other than that I get complements on it all the time.

Traction control switch doesn't disable the traction control.

Dimming interior lights with auto wipers

No cooled seats on my 19 rebel
