So yesterday I recieved a message on my radio asking me to select a time for my radio to update. When I got in my truck today the radio was no longer reseting when my phone is connected by bluetooth (had been doing this for the past 3 weeks). I also realized that my air was blowing super cold. In the past it would cool the truck off but it was not super cold and would take a while on a super hot day. Has anyone else noticed this?

Please update your signature with your trucks vitals... Which radio do you have?

Might've toggled the Max A/C without realizing it ...? I know Max AC can only be accessed on the screen and not on the physical dials.

No man, he’s right. I updated yesterday too and I noticed today that the A/C blows higher at more certain times than before. And it’s cooler than before. I don’t know if this is true or not but I do notice a difference. And it’s noticeable. And I’ll take it since I live in Houston.

I guess I need to get out the digital thermometer this weekend...

I’m going to do that as well as soon as I get home. I honestly don’t see how this update can help but I’m not a full tech guy. I can see the blend spot actuator being controlled by software but the A/C being colder, that couldn’t be from a software update. Or so I think. I’m not a tech guy so....

It could, if the software called for the actuator allowing the blend door to be cracked open and allowing warm air from the heater core being mixed in...at least that has been the theory based on people doing the a/c hack. Interested to see what real data shows with thermometers and if it is repeatable for all. I have yet to be prompted for the current OTA update.

Guys, its most definitely blowing colder. I have never had to turn my air down on this truck like most vehicles and today, the air gets so cold I had to turn it down. I'm in Atlanta and its 95 today.

I’m telling you. It’s 97 today in Houston. It feels like 106. I go through this everyday. I know I feel the difference. If this holds up, my wife is going to love this. Also, I felt the A/C colder and I had it at 69 degrees. When I go home, I’m cranking her to low and see if it gets even colder.

It could also be a sensor recalibration. God knows they've been inexplicably slow to respond on these Rams.

Well here’s the temperature sitting on idle 5 minutes ago with outside temperature at 102 degrees. If I step on the gas, it goes lower.

God bless. It seems mine wants to hang at 50 when 86 outside. I'm OK with the temp and cooling.

I step on the gas while on park for 3 seconds and it drops to 44. I would assume it would still go somewhat lower if I was to be driving.

What’s your software version after the update? That timestamp looks like you took the photo of the software version before you updated.

All info is there. That’s the new update that I got OTA.

Interesting. Looks like I’m on slightly older software. Not sure if there’s a way to force an update. Did you also do the AC heater hose hack, or leave it stock and that’s the temp you’re getting? I’ll be impressed if RAM is sending meaningful software updates OTA... takes me back to the days I owned a Tesla.
