Ha ha ha, I’ve contacted my glass company and have an appointment on Thursday to see what can be done. Hopefully they can have it made before the end of June, then I can start the next process..

most if not all suv's/trucks/crossover vehicles etc come factory with tinted rear windows. the tint is within the glass so you can't get rid of it. the visibility is very good compared to film window tint. why are you getting new windows that don't have it?

Europe or Middle East builds are entirely different. Look at royalty in Range Rovers or Jaguars for example, no tint. OP hasn’t stated a reason other than tease about whatever next project he has in mind. I personally can’t think of any reason not to have it and I certainly wouldn’t waste money replacing all the glass.

Exactly....the only option would be to find an aftermarket replacement that can be custom made fully clear & tintless.

I feel like this would be equivalent of being annoyed that I have heated seats and wanting them removed. OP really needs to explain why he would spend money to do this because I’m at a loss trying to figure this one out.

My gosh people who is supplying the money that I am spending on my vehicle, oh wait that’s ME lol. Honestly the only one I owe any explanation to is the woman that I lay next to every night. Now if she questions what I want something for, then that I get. My money so if I want and I mean want to add/ take away something from it, please tell me who exactly on here I am harming ? All I would have liked was some assistance from what I thought was a helping forum. I didn’t come here to be judged nor do I come here to criticize what others are doing to their vehicles. Somewhere along the line I must have rubbed a couple of folks the wrong way and if I did I definitely apologize. Just was looking for help and not parenting....

The only ones without tinted rear windows I’ve saw was that specific Laramie sport model for the Middle East I think. But that means the RAM factory does make non tinted rear glass so it should be able to be ordered including the back window. Found it and a pic again.

I’m not critical, but why tease people for something so trivial? You created the suspense, not anyone responding. I’ve asked, and I think a few others as well.

It’s a known fact that factory tint isn’t aftermarket window tint, you are possibly the first person that doesn’t want it and a few of us are curious. Do whatever with your truck, but why it’s a secret is beyond me.

That said, I purchased a nice Jaguar years ago and the aftermarket window tint was so dark that my wife wouldn’t drive it at night. Don’t blame her, I didn’t like it as well. My truck was purchased used by me and the original owner added tint to the driver and passenger windows up front. Not something I would do but it’s there and my only gripe is that combined with the auto dim mirrors it makes it somewhat difficult to see things.
