Thinking about taking the truck to the exhaust shop and having them remove the stock exhaust from filter back with 3" but keeping the stock tips.
With no tune or delete think its a waste and time and money?
Anybody mess their exhaust yet?

On mine, I didn't see anything except straight piping after the DPF. I'm assuming that huge part that looks like a propane cylinder under the truck is the DPF, right? Or is that just a standard muffler? I did notice that there's a sensor downstream from it though, so that could get tricky.

Your not going to get much of anything/very little out of exhaust note until emissions components are removed. I know it’s straight forward, I’d hate to see good money wasted

I had the same thought, just waiting for somebody that will do the "off-road" delete so I can get rid of the emission BS, you know cause I'm using my truck 100% offroad ;)

But I did look under mine finally and down stream there appears to be a valve or sensor on the exhaust pipe, so I'll need to find out what that's all about.
But for now I may just do a muffler delete, wouldn't think a exhaust shop would charge to much for that.

^^^ I hear ya. Getting that rear muffler/resonator will change the exhaust note. How or how much idk, all will be in perspective for each individual. With people like you out there helping the rest of us out. That’s all about team right there! Lol
If you can get it done for cheap why not try it out. It’s a off road vehicle anyways:)

Not sure if any of you have seen this, but its something I might do, kinda of pricey considering what it is.
https://www.b2fabrication.com/product-page/2019-2020-resonator-delete-kit-for-ram-trucks

I measured my exhaust and its 2.25 same as whats in this kit, and from what I can tell from reading and videos, the axle back portion on the ecodiesels look to be the same as the 5.7 hemi.

I'm just debating on it because once I make it back home I can get this done for way less than this kit cost. The only benefits I see it would be a diy and the ball flange connection for the tips would give more adjustments.

Curious about this as well, with the resonator delete. My thought was it’s probably not doing much, but then why did they put them on?

I contacted B2fab and asked if it would work on an ecodiesel and they said they had no idea so I asked for the specs.
I emailed them back and told them it measures about the same and the 5.7 hemi had the same muffler/resonator at the back like the ecodiesel does.
So he offered me a deal, make a video of the exhaust and he would knock $20 off the price so I said what the hell. I should be home in a few weeks to install it, may not make any difference but I'm willing to find out.

On your ecoD. I don’t see much of anything to make a difference, compared to cost. Hate to see you waste money.

I’m curious if you notice any added tone, this should be interesting (y)

On a Cummins truck, you can change the sound a little with different tips, tip configurations, etc. but they are also twice the motor and much louder.

if it doesn’t do anything, at least you got them for when you move to Mexico and don’t need the US emissions system anymore:cool:

I’ve already talked to SFT about it but no expected timeline as of yet. Guess we have to wait a year or so.

I had a B2 MF, and while I liked the note, MDS ruined it for me (so I had to run it on tow/haul to avoid it). It got really old after a while, so I sold it and went back to stock (glad I didn’t get rid of it). That and I got tired of setting off car alarms at my parking garage at work, but the main driver was MDS. Now that I am back to stock I never hear it.
