Wired them to the factory bed lights. Super easy - just remove the tail lights and you have access to the wiring harness. Red to red and black to black, easy as that!
I don't have the factory bed lights, if I pop the cover is there a prewired harness?

No, when you buy the bed lights a harness comes with them. The bed light's harness runs underneath the Ram and requires a dealer flash after installation, although there is a work around for the flash. The attached pdf I believe is incorrect for where the wires attach to the harness plug.

Is this all that's needed to install for trailer towing? I'm looking at getting a small trailer to tow and trying to figure out the cost of getting the Ram tow ready. What about the switch that goes on the dash?
How small of a trailer? It may not even have brakes.

Got my Hellwig sway bar installed today!
Just did a test drive and I’m already impressed. Truck handles so much better. I have it set on the medium setting.

You must have got the hot deal at RealTruck! I see you used the adjustable end links, any issues? I need to get a set of those, probably the 6-8" long ones because I have 2" drop springs and my hellwig doesn't sit level. Still works good though, I have it set in the outer holes and it's way better than stock. I'll try the medium when I replace the end links.

Edit- I measured and stock rear end links on my truck are 11" long, I need about 9" with my 2" rear drop so that's Hellwig #7961 adjustable 8-11" end links.

I purchased through ebay today. Will update Thursday with delivery. 180.00 with tax, shipped. Spent a little more than the earlier link for the updated AE version instead of AC. Probably makes no difference but felt a little more at ease this way.
