I know fuel economy threads are everywhere but I wanted to see how all our Rebels are stacking up against each other. These 3.92’s, no air dam, and all terrain tires REALLY seem to suck the fuel down!
I’m getting mid-13’s no matter how soft I am on the gas pedal.

2020 Rebel, have had for about 2 weeks. Im right at 14. After a trip to the mountains and back my mileage was inflated from the highway, normal driving seems to have normalized itself to 14.5ish.

15.5 - 16 ish around the burbs.
16.5 - 17 on highway going 68 - 70mph
Have 2500 miles and only winter blend fuel so far.

13< normal driving, 14< if I milk it.
Not a lot of highway driving. Mostly back roads on my way to work and back.
My Rebel is on the heavy side with the options I chose.

From what I've found, it's better to be harder on the gas to get up to speed and then try to be soft after that (ECO mode if you can get it). If I baby it I sit at 12-13 city, but if I'm more aggressive I'm 13-14 city. 3k miles, and I'm averaging 15 on the nose with pretty much 50/50 city and 55 mph highway. Haven't taken a trip since 500 miles in, but I was at 16-17 on the trip home at 1000 miles.

Hoping I get that slight bump around 5k that a lot of people say happens. I've put in a dry AEM drop in filter, removed carbon filter, use 91/93 etc. Nothing's changed it (didn't think it would). I did just install 2" spacers this weekend so I'm figuring I'll take a small hit from that, but I've noticed better highway mileage after having a bed cover on my old truck. Might offset the lift.

I’m right around 15 - 16 , it’ll probably get better over the summer because it won’t be idling while I’m scraping the windows .

I am getting 11L/100km or 21mpg mixed driving and highway around 9.5L/100km or close to 25mpg.

I was thinking how much added weight do the crew cabs and pano sunroof add to the mix.....But in the end it’s sprung weight and shouldnt be nowhere near as bad and beefing up the tires after a lift

What’s your diesel prices around your area?

Ours around here are between 80-95 cents a litre. Helps that we have a Reserve 10 mins away so they are usually cheaper. Located close to Kingston,ON

Depending on fuel prices looks like you're paying more for less efficiency. I know diesels aren't only for efficiency, and highway is much better than combined, but here's the napkin math.

Let's just say 90 cents a liter at 11L/100km. That translates to $3.40/gal and 22 mpg. If I'm paying $2.00/gal (I'm currently paying $1.79 for 93 octane) for 15 mpg that's 70% more for diesel for only 46% better fuel economy.

Sascwatch's numbers fare better. $0.99/L compared to $0.68/L is $3.75/gal compared to $2.57/gal. That's only a 46% increase in fuel cost for the same efficiency increase. Comes out as a wash.

15.5 to 16.5 on the hwy at 75 to 80mph
13 to 14.5 city/work

2019 Rebel

13.7 avg
700 miles on odometer
Mostly highway
I use the adaptive cruise everyday set at 82 or so and instant reads 13.6 give or take.
Drop it to 70mph and jumps up to 15 .5
But speed limits out here are 75 so that won't cut it.
But it's all about smiles per gallon to me.
