With the Bilstein 5100 circlip in position 5 I have 23” from center of wheel to bottom of wheel well flare directly above. It started out at 24” but settled to 23” after driving 70 miles and hitting a few bumps. This is exactly the same height my truck was at with the Motofab 2” leveling spacer (which the spacer actually measures much less than 2”).

Sorry if I missed it, but what made you replace the spacers with the Bilstein's?

I wanted to upgrade the suspension. Originally I was going to try some Icon or Falcons but I read some people saying those were harsh on small slow speed bumps usually found on city streets. Since I am not going off road in my Longhorn I decided to try the Bilstein shocks instead. I may still get a pair of Icon, Falcon, Fox etc. shocks after I read more feedback

BTW, I now have a set of Motofab 2” top hat leveling spacers for sale cheap. The spacers are actually 1.25 inches thick but they are supposed to give 2” of lift. I guess they do.
I’ll sell them for $25 plus shipping. Been on since July of 2019 about 9,000 miles

Looking at getting some front 5100s on order. Have any of you left the stock rear shocks on? Any regrets, if so? I feel like the back end rides so smooth already, I don’t want to risk making it a harsher ride with different valving. Alternatively, if you think the 5100s ride smoother on-road, let me know that as well.

Unfortunately, I see the price went up on bilsteinlifts.com.

Thoughts on the setup by going that route? Any noticeable difference in compression and rebound front to back now?
I have driven the truck less than 100 miles. The only time my truck is off pavement is when on dirt and gravel farm roads. I don’t notice a difference in damping front to back but not sure I would anyway given how I baby the truck

I've had this same setup for about 4,000 miles. I haven't noticed any difference.

I think I saw Rock Auto had the front for $105 each yesterday when I was ordering something else.

I don’t see them listed. Do you have a link? I’d buy them immediately at that price.

Also, I reached out to Bilstein directly yesterday, and there will be a 6112 available this Spring/Summer. I had terrific results with these in the past, but they are quite a bit higher cost, as well.

I don't have the Off Road Package on my Laramie. The OE shocks are absolute garbage IMO. There's a reason people are trying to sell an all corner set (immediate take offs) for less than 100 bucks on eBay.
When I got the 5100s installed it was night and day from the OE shocks. Going over certain areas I would feel the OE shocks limit and "bottom out". The 5100s are a lot smoother over those same areas. On pavement there was really no difference in the smoothness - its just a smooth road. Off roading is where you will notice a big difference. However, on roads at high speeds, there was no rear end "skipping" or "jumping" on turns.
I don't regret changing out all 4 corners with 5100s. Well worth the money to me.

Thanks, I couldn’t find them under 2020 Ram. They’re only listed under 2019.

Bummer, only one shown in stock. That’s a fantastic price but unfortunately can’t order more than stock quantity.

Dang! You could try calling them and seeing if they can order another or some other route. Their customer service is usually on point.

Also is anyone running these on setting 7 daily? I'm planning on 5100 on all 4 corners and adding a 1.5 spacer in rear as some others have but was curious about running the higher setting in front. Most are running 4-6 which makes the most sense (I never liked running full max/min on parts like this)

The Spring/Summer is tentative and a best guess at this point. Both the Ohio and CA plants are essentially shut down due to the Coronavirus. They're operating with skeleton crews.

Ha! Also on backorder. I’ll see if I can get anyone to match these prices.
