Hello everyone. I am a new member hoping to share a product that I am developing. I love the Ram Bin storage under our floor mats, but I felt like they could be improved. I made some dividers out of ABS plastic to help keep everything sorted. They worked well for me, so I am hoping to try and sell some. I made 5 extra sets when I made my own, so I was hoping that would provide a good test. When these first few are gone I will wait to hear feedback before a larger run. Please let me know if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions. The best chance at a quick reply is my email: [email protected]

Right now my price point is $30.00 (includes shipping) for one side. If you are interested they are available for purchase at the following site: https://www.etsy.com/listing/765876942/2019-ram-bin-divider-set?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=ram+bin+2019+&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&organic_search_click=1&frs=1

Looks good! I might well consider buying a set, although at first blush, $30 seems a bit high. Are you making them on a mill, or laser-cutting, or waterjet-cutting?
.
If one wants to not use them for awhile, can one take them apart and just lay the flat pieces in the bottom of the bin until they're needed again? If so, then they are all just stacked flat in the bottom of the bin, how tall is the stack?

I assume (I know, never assume) that he's 3D printing them.

I agree that the price seems high, but I think I forgot to mention $10 of that was just covering S+H. So one set is $20 before shipping and handling. I have it set so that if you buy two sets the second one is half off. I cut the first set on a water-jet, but if they take off I will be outsourcing them to be laser cut.

You can take them apart, but I do not think that they would lay completely flat. I did my best to copy the draft of the bin itself (the top of the dividers is wider than the bottom of the bin) I can send some more pics of this tomorrow. Each piece is roughly 1/8" thick, so all three would be 0.375".

I would also like to say that I sincerely expect to make some changes based off of my trial runs, so if you get one of these first few sets you can probably expect a free sample of the new product :).

Maybe, but I've never seen any 3d printer that can texture the flat surfaces like I see in one of the photos. Looks to me like they are cut from textured flat stock.
.
One example of 1/8" thick, textured ABS sheet available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Falken-Design-ABS-BK-1-8-1236-Textured/dp/B07BCTYT8K?SubscriptionId=AKIAILSHYYTFIVPWUY6Q&tag=duckduckgo-d-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B07BCTYT8K
.
Also, even at only 1/8" thick, those pieces would take a long time to print on any reasonably-priced 3d printer that I'm aware of. But we'll have to wait until the OP responds to get the straight poop.
.
UPDATE: Oops! I hadn't seen that the OP had already responded and said they are waterjet-cut, but too late now.

Here are some pictures that show how the three pieces come apart and stack.

Even better to lean the stack vertically against the wall of the box, eaiser to get to them when one does want to deploy them again
.
I think I'll take a set - any left?

I have 3 left, but Etsy is being weird and says there is only one set remaining. Please try to place your order on there and if it does not work correctly please contact me at the email in the original post and I will get you taken care of.

Thanks!

Well, Etsy says it's sending two of them. Initially it showed only one set left, but said there were two in peoples' carts. The confirming email shows qty two (actually, both order page and confirming email showed qty 1: qty 2 for $40 incl shipping).
.
We'll see what actually arrives ;-)

Given the size, likely could fit all 3 pieces on a Ender 3 printed vertically with a brim and have it done in 6-8 hours max. Would have to print in PETG or ABS in order to stand up to heat in the cabin.
