Wondering with how many gals yall fill up your 26 or 23 gal tank
Not sure what tank do I have because can’t find anything on the window sticker
But my tank fills up with 23 gals always so I’m not sure if I have the 23 or 26
(2020 limited 5.7 etorque)

What trim & engine?

You have a 26 gallon tank. It seems most are filling with the same results, however, I can't recall the reasoning. I believe those with the 33 gallon tank are also filling much less.

It is on your build sheet. Enter your 17 digit vin after the = sign on the URL (web address line). Be sure to use capital letters.

It would look like below but with your complete 17 digit vin #

I have the 26 gallon tank and when the low fuel light comes on it takes about 22 gallons to fill it.

Pretty sure with the etorque option the standard tank is 23 gallons even with the Hemi engine. Then you have to upgrade to 26 or 33. With the 33 gallon tank I have filled up and hit 32 gallons before.

I have put 25.3 in mine when the distance to empty was below 10 miles. How much of that was filler neck I’m not sure. (Hemi 26)

I have a 26 gal, and when my fill light comes on (and the "miles left" is < 50), I can usually put in 23 gallons.

I guess I can knock out those 50 miles, given my average 17mpg.

Thanks Jako for the link above, it's interesting to see what's really in the truck.

You wouldn’t be able to put 23 gallons in a 23-gallon tank unless you ran it bone dry, so...

Don't you start bringing logic and reason into here..

Folks, unless someone is out back having to PUSH you to the gas pump, you're not ever going to fill up to the full tank capacity. It's pretty common practice for the gas light to come on when 3-4 gallons of fuel remain. That would explain only needing to put 2-3 gallons in at fillup time.

I have 26 gallon tank and it takes 22-23 gallons once the light comes on. When I bought mine the Bighorn came standard with a 23 gallon tank but the 26 gallon was a no cost upgrade. Being I ordered my truck it was a no brainer to get it.

Yes - I agree "interesting to see what's really in the truck"
FOUND THIS "New Jersey Cost Surcharge"
Can't figure out how it works and how much.
Bought in NJ and live in NY.
There is some info about .4% for certain vehicles over 45K or 19MPG or less fuel economy (attachment).
There was also some info about NJ requiring dealers be paid the same hourly wage for warranty work from FCA but dated material.

Any of you Jerseyites able to explain the $$$ grab.

HEY MY MAN! YOU ARE THE BEST
SO I FIND OUT THAT MY TRUCK HAVE THE 26 GAL TANK
AND A FEW OTHER THINGS I DIDNT KNOW ABOUT IT THIS IS SUPER HELPFUL INFO!! THANKS FOR THE LINK!!!! ROB..

so what's interesting is my print out says a class IV hitch, but I thought I saw it was a Class III ....

Going to have to recheck, then make some phone calls if warranted. Good thing the dealership owner and I go back a decade before I ever bought from him.

This build sheet option is indeed interesting. My 2020 Limited indeed reports 26 gallon fuel tank in the standard equipment group (as I expected) but then in the optional section it reads "5 Additional Gallons of Gas ". I know I don't have the 33 gallon tank, but does anyone else have this on their sheet? What do you think it means?

It's on my sheet, I believe someone posted that is the gas put in at factory.

I have a 2019 hemi e-torque. Mine has 23 gallon tank. One time light was on and the dash said I still had 23 miles left, it took 22.5 gallons to fill it. I don't try to make this a habbit though....
