Has anyone had there local dealer switch the stock lighting that comes with the bighorn 2020 ram to the optional premium lightning package? Found a truck with every option besides that one. Wondering if I should keep looking or ask the dealer to order the led headlights and swap them out. Thanks in advance.

I did the swap as have others on this forum, as moparian said. It cost around $2000 total including OEM headlights and tail lights and aftermarket LED fog lights.

The tail lights are easy to swap, takes about 15 minutes. The head lights are a little trickier and require a fair amount of disassembly, but overall not too bad.

I doubt the dealer will do it because the headlights are not plug and play. It requires buying a third party adapter to get them to work.

Those do look a lot better. $2K is steep but for the life of the truck they should be just fine.

That really looks good! The company website (used your signature link) indicated $620 ish for the set, that's certainly a good price! Did you do your own install and if so, how was it?

The install was quite a challenge since you have to remove the grill, fascia and wheelhouse splash shields.

Plan on setting a day aside for this project.

I have some more details of the install in this thread:

Probably swap them out for a set of halogen equivalent LED bulbs(aka not cheap ebay ricer lights) and get a pretty good setup for less than a set of factory reflectors. That being said I would spend the ~1300 and get a set of LED retros from https://www.hidretrofitkit.com/custom-headlights/2019-5th-gen-ram-black-led-headlights/
I almost pulled the trigger on these but I could not justify the price and the ones with the DRL's are $300 more.

I do remember seeing that if you provide the headlights then the price is significantly cheaper(might have been on their FB page).

I’m lookin to do the LED swap across the board on my 19 and the dealer is saying the LED Tail Lights will cause the Check Engine to stay on? Has anyone heard of this I couldn’t find anything anywhere about that happening? Headlights I get causing an issue without the harness adapter but not the tail lights.

False. They are plug and play. Just make sure you get the correct versions. If your truck has BSM, make sure you get the ones with BSM. If no BSM make sure you get the ones that don't have BSM.

Are u leasing or purchasing? When I leased my ‘20 RAM I was told it was about $15 more per month to the payment for the premium lighting group. It was a no brainer because as soon as I saw the halogens I knew the premium led’s were the way to go.

I bought it back in July but at the time I didn’t realize the premium lighting group was an option I thought it only came on the limited because that’s how the dealer inventory was where i bought and a couple others i price shopped while looking

If you don't mind me asking, where did you purchase from? Interested in doing the same.
