Anyone know of any that fit our trucks? Haven’t been able to find any online for the 2019.

I’m glad I got the Console Vault myself. Only consideration is since you have a limited, the sliding cup holders won’t go fully under the console lid anymore. Lock’er Down makes a lower profile vault that lets you retain full function of the slider.

I have the lockerdown in my Limited. It allows for the console slider to still have full movement. That does mean the vault is pretty small/shallow: fits my VP9 (full size) but not much more. I'm thinking abt getting locking lids for the in-floor storage.

I have the Tuffy in my 2020 Laramie sport. It allows full use of the sliding console. $149.00. This is the third Tuffy I have had and they work great.

I just installed the Lockerdown Floor Safe last night. I looked at console safes, but decided on the floor safe because it is hidden (by my MOPAR mats) and it has about 4x the volume of a console safe. I really debated on a console safe; but I figured a thief would break in and see my console safe; then destroy my console to remove the safe. The floor safe may not be as convenient; but there are other benefits (its large and discrete). https://www.lockerdown.com/i-131-ex...dodge-ram-model-ld3039ex.html?ref=category:38

On the subject of gun safes: I need rifle storage in the cab. I'm not interested in expensive systems that compromise bed utility and space (Decked), nor the console/floor security products (too small). I am looking for secondary security for rifles inside the cab of a Bighorn CC.

Has anyone actually installed the Tuffy Under Seat Lockbox ? I have found posts mentioning interest in the Tuffy or as an option, but I'm not able to find any reviews of it. Perhaps my Google-Fu is weakening.

I have two Lock’er Down safes, one console and one rear in floor. Having tried other products, so far these are the best made and secure I’ve found. Plus their customer service is fantastic!

I checked out the website and that isn't a safe. It's a tray that holds rifles and doesn't secure them.

firstly, out of sight, out of mind,

There's tie down lugs, use a bike lock through the trigger guard or magzine well.

If someone wants to steal something bad enough they will get it. I have no doubt a determined crackhead or methed up moron could rip the console "safes" out by destroying all the plastic in a few seconds.

Nope, not when it comes to firearms. Smash and grabs are a thing and firearms are stolen are significant rates.

All true, which is why I asked specifically about anyone who had installed the Tuffy product.

Console Vault fits perfect. Easy install as well
I went with Tuffy infloor locking lid. Your Mopar looks very solid too.

What about a 1911? Do you think one would fit?

My Glock 21 fits easily in my low profile Locker Down. Wouldn’t think a 1911 would be much bigger.

For that style of console storage, you’ll have no trouble with a full size handgun.

This is a Glock 19 in my Console Vault. You could fit a couple full size handguns no problem. The Lock’er Down will have pretty much identical storage capacity. Since you have a Laramie you don’t need to worry about the sliding cup holder clearance.
