Please forgive the dummy part.

If I'm looking at a coilover for the front and says will fit 4wd. Like a front strut, could it possibly fit a 2wd truck? I know some parts that fit and work on a 4wd, will work on a 2wd also. I am just looking for more of a technical yes or no and this is why. Thanks guy?

Yes it will. The suspension setup is the same on 2wd and 4wd trucks.

I had a shop in town do a thorough evaluation of 2wd vs 4wd suspension to see if they are the same. They compared and said yes, they are the same. Thus, I am going to get the 6” BDS kit installed next week on my 2wd.
