6 inch lift with readylift uca?

Ok everyone I currently have the readylift 3.5 lift but I’m doing a rebuild and going to the pro comp 6 inch. I was told by readylift that I couldn’t run the upper control arms with the new lift. But I have seen a few people run the readylift control arms with a 6 inch lift. So can someone give me clarification? I would rather run the readylift uppers rather than the factory ones if I can.

I’ve seen pictures of an install exactly as you describe. The angles looked wrong to me. The 6” kit comes with longer steering knuckles and the Readylift UCA’s were engineered for stock knuckles. I did the BDS 6” and their UCA’s. I’d recommend matching the UCA’s with the kit.

What he said, you can do it but the ballpoint is more compressed than it should be. Been fine for me for about 4K miles but I don’t off-road or anything. I expected it to be slightly compressed but not as much as it is. I posted some pictures of the angles months ago. In Fact I probably PM it to Ramsco, let me see if I can find it.

It seems like the front needs another 1” or so to bring it to a neutral position, but I think that would be hard on the CV. Which makes sense, that would probably put it around the same stretch as their 3.5” kit where the arm was designed to function.

Readylift is always really sensitive to this type of thing, I guess as a company you have to be now days for legal issues. Too many people trying to mix and match parts without really knowing how they work.

Procomp kit installed!

Finally got this installed, so far so good. A small clunk feel in the steering wheel on certain bumps, unsure what that is. I’m definitely going to be upgrading to full coilovers as soon as something I want comes out. Or MAYBE teraflex shocks set on like 1”. This is the full kit, the angles...
