What's the "Upped Amp-age" for the 9 speaker Alpine option ? Is it all integrated into the Connect system or a separate AMP tucked under somewhere ?

Moat likely the same as current, 506 watts with an external amplifier.

i did read somewhere that someone had listened to the "newer" 2019 ALPINE stereo and said there was a noticeable difference between the ds.

The 9 speaker Alpine sounds great in the DT.

Of course you must be speaking of the CREW Cab since no Quads are out yet, but I hope for the same results as mine will be a Quad ! BUT, funny thing, while re-rebuilding my Build, when I add the "9-speaker" option, IT No Longer States ALPINE and I can't seem to find the word ALPINE anywhere ! ? ? ? Temporary glitch ? or is there a change coming !?

HK system sounds really well - drove one today. The 9 speaker is good enough for me and leaps/bounds better than the factory system in my F150 (standard system - not the upgraded/optional one).

That being said - where are the 9 speakers located in the 2019s? Almost sounds like 2 are in the upper rear headliner?

2 tweeters and center channel in the dash, speakers in all 4 doors, 2 speakers in the rear headliner and the Sub behind the seat. I'd really like to hear the HK system.

My 2016 has the Alpine system and its pretty good, sounded a lot better after I switched out the sub for an aftermarket one. The Alpine system in the DS trucks at least is known for having too much mid range and not enough highs. It's pretty common for guys to swap out the dash speakers for Infinity reference speakers which apparently really cleans up the sound.

Will someone PLEASE answer me this -- Show me PROOF that the DT's Have and Will continue having ALPINE as the 9 speaker + subwoofer Option ! ! ! I continue to have my doubts as I see NO REFERENCE with the word ALPINE ANYWHERE on the RAM pages - general or build & Price OR on actual Window Stickers as provided on Dealer websites of "vehicles in transit, that show the 9 speaker option ON IT ! ? Now Vehicles with the HK system do indeed show the name Harmon Kardon on the Window Sticker ! ? WHAT GIVES -- SAME IN CANADA ? I really don't care if its Alpine; but as long as the DT 9 + 1 sound system is a QUALITY Make and not some B.S. Generic Junk ! ! ! Well ? What have you got to say for yourselves, FCA-US ?

While I can't provide proof, this is a quote from one of the press releases after the truck was unveiled:
"
Most powerful audio system in a pickup
The
all-new 2019 Ram 1500 offers four audiophile-quality audio systems to
immerse passengers in the ultimate sound experience, including Alpine
and a class-exclusive premium Harman Kardon audio system with 19
speakers and 10-inch subwoofer – the finest and most powerful audio
system available in a pickup"

Alpine of course being referred to as the 9 speaker + subwoofer system,

I have some serious doubts that they would have kicked the Alpine system to the curb, last minute after they had announced it and trucks started production to re engineer and implement a different system. More than likely they are keeping the name off it to help promote the Harmon Kardon system. I can't say that I am 100% correct on that or not though, but some members here have said they listened to it and it sounds even better than the current Alpine system, which at the end of the day is what really matters.

My understanding is that the "19 speakers" line is pure marketing ********. They count a coaxial speaker as 2 speakers. Hmmm.....

I 100% can confirm there is an alpine system with a sub in the 2019, I tesst drove a Laramie with one last night. It sounds fantastic, The bass is powerful without being over bearing, and the mids and highs are well balanced. I wont even need to replace the subwoofer with a bigger one ( for my personal preference of course) For reference have a single Alpine Type R 10 in a Fox Box with a 1200 Watt amp wired to 2 ohms it in my 2011, as well as upgraded all door speakers and dash speakers with alpines.

I HEAR you, I hear Jared and some of the others, BUT, NO ONE has yet "PROVED* anything ! Show me (any of us who also wonder) that Alpine Name on the center dash grill ! ? Is that the "sum-end Proof"? Why then (AGAIN) has the Alpine Name been removed from the RAM web-pages ? IT WAS THEIR A FEW MONTHS AGO ! Certainly NOT a deal breaker, but, come-on what gives with that ? IF it's back to Infinity or ??? I don't mind as long as it is a "quality" Product that won't dry up and crack or crack under Normal use -- the full range of the UConnect system parameters - which in my opinion should change based on the speaker/amp system (all inclusive) ! Most likely it does !? Sure would be GREAT if they opted to drop Alpine in favor of HK across the board ! After all HK also makes a variety of speakers with differing purposes/materials & "qualities" for various applications ! Why 2 vendors; why not the one, HK !? Why not use a 9 + woofer HK in the "lower" models, too !? Doesn't have to be "Designed in" as purported with the "19" speaker system ! Bottom line, just because the vast majority of buyers are out of the "top 5% $$$$," should they "feel" less deserving !?
Am I jealous ? Heck yea !     Am I just as deserving ? Heck yea ! Can I get a HURRAH ? Can we all stand up a SHOUT . . . HURRAH ? ok . . . I certainly "feel" as though a whole lot of angst has been lifted from my weary shoulders . . . much better thank you all for allowing me my moment of grief over Alpine's apparent disappearance from RAM.com !
