Dealer Cost to Install 2" Mopar Lift

I'm having my Mopar 2" lift installed Tuesday and called around first for a few dealer estimates. I'm fortunate to have quite a few dealerships within a 60 mile radius. So, these are the prices I was given from 4 different dealerships: 1) $921.05 + $89 Alignment 2) $910 + $90 Alignment 3) $1450 + $100 Alignment 4) $550 + 79 Alignment. Of course I schedule with the dealership for $550 even though I'll have to drive about 40 miles. I'm really shocked at the variations in price! $900 difference between the lowest and highest estimate! What are others paying the Ram dealership to install the 2" Mopar kit?

I would guess the 550 is reasonable since it was the lowest. It's really not that bad of an install, it took me about 4 hours (however i do have a 2 post in my garage) The front would be easy to do on stands, the rear might be tricky.

I paid $600 including alignment to have mine done.

Was this parts and labor? Btw does anyone know the part # for the Mopar kit...keep in mind when were talking about 2019 ram 1500s there's two body styles...the DS old body style classic...or the DT new body style..

my local dealer also wanted 900 for the base install plus balancing and everythinhg else. I went to a local tire shop the specializes in lifts in my town and it was 500

I would guess the 550 is reasonable since it was the lowest. It's really not that bad of an install, it took me about 4 hours (however i do have a 2 post in my garage) The front would be easy to do on stands, the rear might be tricky.

I purchased a Mopar Lifetime Service Plan and understand the 2" lift will be included as long as it's dealer installed, so it's worth a little extra for long-term piece of mind. If not for that, I'd install myself and take it somewhere for an alignment.

I purchased the lift from BAM Wholesale (Brunswick Automart Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram) for $1,023.13. That was the best price I found on the lift kit. The numbers I listed above were labor only. So, I'll have just over $1,650 in this kit with parts and labor.

Mine was solely for the labor and alignment. The kit was a little over $1K from my dealership since they were installing it.

Ok guys so here's what I found, the Mopar Part Number is 77072424 is only the correct part # for the 2019 Ram 1500 DT or new body style, this will not fit the 2019 Ram 1500 DS classic old body style..see attachment and notice difference, the DT new body style uses fox equipment shocks, the DS classic body style uses Bilstien..
