What’s the highest MPG you ever got with your Hemi truck?

I think I was able to maintain 18 mpg for like 10 miles. Of course I have RAM with 33" tires and 3.92 rear axle, mpg is not it's strong suit. Also, I live in San Diego which means lots of hills and elevation changes both on city streets and highways, which doesn't help mpg at all.

I think if I had a straight stretch of road, drove 65 mph on the slow lane (usually avoid due to rock hits) and turn on my MDS, I can probably stretch it to 19 or even 20 mpg. However, the 2nd I hit the city, the mpg drops like a rock.

I understand tires, city, and whatnot. Just curious what was the highest each person had ever got. I’m moth that person who expects to get 30mpg from a truck.

On my trip home with it I was getting 18.5mpg.

I went from Houston to Austin. I exited my exit and it showed 24.0mpg. I’m positively sure it’s going to go down tomorrow in the city but it was still pretty impressive. For the longest it was in the 22.something mpg while doing 70mph-75mpn and then it kept going up and up once I got into Austin at 65mph.

I’ve got 3000 miles on the truck. The trip to my moms house and back is an hour each way, mostly interstate with 65 speed limit, I’m driving 70 with cruise control on. Been making that trip 3 days a week for the last couple of weeks. A few of those days I reset the mpg meter when leaving my house and it shows 21-22 when I return. While I’m actually on the highway the average mpg hits a high of 24 but once I exit it starts going down.

I got 21mpg on my first highway trip with my truck last week. Roughly 200 miles of highway. I tried to keep it right around 75mph. Hemi crew cab, 5'7" box, North Edition, 33g tank, 3:21 rear end.

I've gotten 22 mpg on a 475 mile trip to Wisconsin. That was with hitting a couple traffic jams in Chicago so I could probably have done a little better.

9.7 l/100 km which = 24 mpg. From a 4 hour drive through country + freeway.

27.5 mpg? Interesting. RAM should buy this one back and study it to find out how all their trucks can get this kind of mpg. I'd guess they should be able to dominate the 1/2 ton segment if they can consistently do this

27.5 mpg for an entire tank down I-40 with cruise set at 69 on a cool night.

Highest was 24mpg @67mph

My last 500mile road trip I got 22.7 averaging 70mph

I have the ORP with A/T tires too

Another trip to moms house and back this morning. It’s pretty consistent.

I should have said for the 5.7 Liter motor only. Still not bad for a V6.
