I used to have a 2003 Laramie 1500 with 5.7 HEMI. Besides cylinder deactivation and 8 speed transmission, has there been any improvements in the 2019 iteration? I think my 03 has 345hp, so 50hp boost in the 2019 is nice. Just wondering what I may be missing.

Thanks

The most significant changes occurred in 2009, as I understand it. See:

my 03 Laramie had 2 computers... the spark plug wires went across the top of the motor to the opposite coil pack on the other side, it does not do that anymore.. no MDS, mechanical fan... just to name a few.. I had a Superchips programmer and MSD 6-Hemi box on it also, with a functional shaker hood.
