When you are cruising at highway speeds what is your “current” at? Mine always seems to look like this on the highway. I haven’t noticed anything weird with fuel economy 3.21 gears 87 octane 21735

At 65 I'm at 18.9 with 3.92 gearing. I'm a bit surprised your not seeing higher with 3.21 @ 65.

Now anything over 70 and it starts dropping off quickly...

My 3.92 at 70 mph will show instant of between 15-25 mpg depending on incline, wind, etc. This is using 89 octane. I'm around 3300 miles now, and Eco (MDS) is engaging at higher speeds than it would before. I've also averaged 18 mpg per the computer since I filled up Sunday night, for my 50/50 city/highway commute to work (24 miles one way).

That 18.1 is mixed driving and hasn’t been reset since I bought the truck. My instant at 65 hovers around 27-32 on the highway. Up to 70 and I go down to 23-25

I’m just confused on why some people get such bad gas mileage. My 18.1 on the screen is 75% city driving and 25% highway and freeway. Usually when I reset my trip and do highway only on that stretch I see the 22-25 mph depending on wind and direction. If I did only highway driving I would think I’d see about 22mph. I’m just very curious of what’s wrong with peoples trucks to get such poor gas milage

You trolling us? Do you have the 6 cylinder? I have never seen my mpg that high (regardless of speed) unless I'm going downhill and/or I'm coasting. Cruise control at 55 mph flat highway, and I'm getting maybe 20mpg, less at 65+mph. That eco light refuses to come on over 50 mph.

I’m absolutely not trolling anyone. I was fully expecting to experience bad gas milage like most but was surprised that I’m getting pretty solid fuel economy. I have the 5.7 with 3.21 gears

28 instant? Wow. What do you get like 1,000 mile range on the tank? I'd love to drive someone else's truck to get a real world comparison.

a snap shoot pix of the dash to show either avg mpg or current mpg means absolutely nothing ... my last tank dash showed 20.1 avg mpg, hc to 19.5, and there were times when the current was OVER 40 mpg with the ecco light on and running around 65mph

All of you must live on flat lands and drive only highway. I drive mostly city (NJ will lots of hills) and a little highway. I average 10. that's right 10. The windows sticker that says 17 city is total BS. LOL
I may have a heavy foot and do enjoy the sound of the exhaust but really 10. Was expecting more :(

That’s not necessarily the point I’m trying to make. Your fuel economy is where I would expect it. People on here are getting 12-14 hand calculated. That’s the point I’m making

I'm not sure why some get so high vs others. I started around 13 and have increased to about 14 in mostly city driving which is about what is expect. I'm sure lift and tires make a difference too.

The biggest variable might be temps and fuel blends. I live in ND and it's been cold here (below freezing) for most of the time I've owned it.

Nowhere near that with mine. Right now my dash is showing 15.6 and that's a lot of 60-65 MPH flat highways with cruise on. My Fuely Ap shows 13.9 MPG. Was hoping it would get a little bit better than it has been...

I noticed that idling at lights kills the computed mileage so if there is a lot of idling then the mileage will be bad. If equipped with start/stop it should be better.

Those 33 12.50 ridge grapplers and moto metals are not helping, You're running around 110 lbs per corner versus 72 lbs for the factory 20 inch setup. I had a similar setup on my GMC 33 1250 18 on 18x9 fuels that weighed in at 100 lbs even and they ate about 4 mpg off the average.

Cruise set at 70 with a 20-25 mph tailwind.

I have a rebel so there’s that, but mine will stay at 18 on the highway at that speed of there’s no resistance. Any wind or inclines and it dips to 14 ish.

Can’t really tell what it averages, I haven’t been driving it much but around town and letting the carven stretch it’s pipes.

I know it's a truck and it's not a big deal to me but my 2014 would get around 21-22 with 4x4 and 3.21 gears on the highway. My 2019 with 4x4 and 3.21 gears is like yours 18.7, it's just weird with improvements in arodynamics and slightly less weight that MPG is lower.
