I've had three lifted dodge trucks so far. The first two had three inch body lifts. The last was a 2014 ram 1500 sport with rc 4" full suspension lift with 35 12.50 20 ridge graplers and fuel wheels. Rode like stock. Just got a 2019 ram Laramie sport. Started looking at lifts again. Looks like the difference between the 3.5 and the full suspension 4 is like $1000. Can't see how the 3.5 doesn't have a rough ride? Isn't the truck basically driving on its tippy toes? Doesn't the preload spacers eliminate the "cushion" in the spring? I have to admit all these trucks look great. If I'm wrong please let know. Please don't think I'm a hater. I really want to know. Thanks guys.

I installed 3.5 in readylift on 19 and feels great. When I do hit a firm pothole its stiffer but overall on average driving and variances in road very close to sock

I have the 3.5" readylift installed on my 2019 ram 1500 with the off road package and it is stiff, bouncy and you feel everything on the road. I would like to ride in a truck without the offroad package and 3.5" readylift to see if there is a difference. Having it uninstalled tomorrow going back to stock I love the look hate the ride quality

I am wondering if it is the off road package causing the poor ride. I have the 3.5 Readylift and could not be happier . Ride quality on mine is very close to stock.

Part of me would like to get some non-off road struts/shocks and springs all around to find out if it would soften the ride up and way closer to the stock ride

Anyone know the part numbers of Non-off road rear springs and non-off road front strut/shock spring assembly

What 4in full suspension lift are you talking about? I didn't think there was one available yet.

You can find fresh take-offs on ebay - look for shram auto parts.

However, it might be the fact that you're at 4.5" over "stock" (3.5" lift plus 1" factory) and that's pretty much viewed as too much lift without going to a full kit with other key components. I'd be interested what kind of angles you have under there, might be a problem.

I will snap a few pics this afternoon. Would like your input. Anyway, I am having the 3.5 removed may go with the motofab 2.5 front and 1.5 rear. Will that ride any better then 3.5?

Research MotoFab...I saw someone on here having issues with the ORP

Generally a top-hat spacer will not change the ride at all (because it doesn't pre-compress the spring), as long as it doesn't lift you too high. Personally, you might think about a 2" front 1" rear and you probably will guarantee a good ride. I'd make sure to retain the aftermarket control arms.

Those cv angles are sharp. I would be very leary of putting it in 4wd like that.
I would go with a 2" or 2.5" top hat spacer in the front. That will essentially make you identical to a 3.5" kit on a non offroad package truck. Then add a small spacer in the back if you still wanted some rake. The 3.5" kits are not intended for Rebels or Offroad Package trucks because of the 1" already from the factory. You could always just pull out the preload spacer and then it would essentially be a 2" lift all the way around instead of having to buy new tophats. You will still have rake this way though, unless you remove the rear spacer.

A lot of the ride is going to depend on the tires and air pressure.

This is probably due to the spacers used and the stiffer shocks that come on the off-road package. They use an “HD shock” which translates to stiffer ride, couple that with a poor lift and it’ll ride like garbage.

any fix or solutions?
No fix, yet. It's not bothersome enough for me yet. Since I had other more serious issues with my new ram I'm ignoring or libing with the squeek lol I've considered doing lemon law, but man I like the truck even with all the issues
