Swapping oem bumpers

I have the chrome package and would like to swap the chrome bumpers for black bumpers to match. Will the black oem bumpers bolt right on ? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I hate the chrome bumpers and they couldn’t find me one with all the options I wanted with the color matching bumpers or sports package

I wanted to plastidip my bumpers for the same reason, but decided not to because I found a removal tutorial and there’s a ton of **** to undo and you have to mess with some wiring as well. Ultimately decided not to do it. If you’re more savvy with tools than I am, you may end up doing it but I didn’t feel like messing with it. I googled “2019 ram 1500 bumper removal” and an off-roading website had tutorials for front and back.

My bumpers will be swapped this week. Just in getting painted and clear wrapped this weekend . Should be on by Tuesday.

Did you do the swap through a dealership? Mind if I ask what that set you back? I've been wanting to do the same to my Laramie, for the same reasons.

To reply to the few ppl who have sent me a pm about pricing. I’m not exactly sure what it cost because my buddy who works at a dodge dealer owed me money and instead paid for my bumpers , paint , install and clear wrap to pay me back. He owed me $1100 so I’m assuming it cost him around or less than that but I’m not sure. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

Wish I had a guy like this. This truck has too much chrome (wayyy to much in my opinion) so I want to change bumpers too (at least).
Any chance your buddy could give some insight on the feasibility of Joe Schmoe like us getting a dealer to do the same?
He wouldn't happen to be in FL would he?

What do you want to know I can ask him and not even close to Florida. I wish I lived there but we are in Wisconsin.

Not sure on cost as my buddy works at a dealer and owed me money so he paid for it. Just gotta order the original oem and have them painted or find some used ones I’m sure they are out there by now
