I am purchasing a new truck and it already has the lift rims and tires. I really like the look of color matched bushwacker rivet pocket fender flares but I'm not sure if the tires stick out far enough to look good.
From what I have read they have 2.5" of tire coverage and it looks like the tires only stick out 1.5"

Thoughts please
Thanks Wayne IMG_2347.jpg

For sure, I’d get the flares. Those are some rock chuckers.

Get them. Mine don't stick out that much and I am still putting them on. Will change the tires to some wider ones at some point to make it look better.

I purchased the Bushwacker Flares and they cover close to 2" outside the wheel well. I also purchased 35x12.5R22 Amp Trrrain Attack wheel tire combo -25 offset. That combination should have the wheels flush or just a hair out or in on the flares. I have some pics with flares dry mounted and will add the lift + tires at the end of this month20190228_090044.jpg20190228_090044.jpgVideoCapture_20190313-164229.jpg

Id just put some 3M protective film on there or the OEM ones maybe...Looks good!

Here are the Bushwackers on my truck. I'm currently wheel shopping as my current wheels are tucked too far in. Looking at probably going 20x10 -25 offset with 305/55r20s or possibly 35x12.50s. Should get me pretty close to even with the flares but probably still slightly tucked in. I need to do some more measuring to be sure.

KSN240, did you paint those or is that how they came? I'm waiting on a set to arrive and not sure wether I'll paint my truck or put truck bed liner on them.

I was looking at the Drt style and i am running a 20x10-18 and with a 12.50 wide tire. Mine would for sure not sit flush but isn’t that the point of flares to stop things from hitting the truck?

They come in a flat black ready to paint. I had these color matched at a buddy's shop.

That won't look bad. You'll be 2" closer than what mine are. I will probably be going to a 20x10 -25 with a 12.5 wide tire.
