Finally got rid of 99% of the chrome on my Limited. Had the grill painted with black background and Ivory accents. Added new shoes last week with Fuel Contra 22x10 and 33x12.50 Open County M/T. Also, added Revel Links for 38.5 on front and 39 rear in normal setting (no error codes up to this point in OR1 or OR2) thankfully no rubbing issues. Last few projects are replacing chrome window trip (have the black trim hoping to throw on this weekend) and blackout tails. Thanks to Jeremy at Retro Shop for the Ivory matched badass badges and Dustin from Custom Automotive in Kentucky for getting the wheels and tire to Florida for me! Second time I’ve used Custom Automotive in the last three years, highly recommend them no matter where you are located!

Man that looks good. Not sure if you are tinting or painting your blacked out taillights. I found a guy who does incredible looking paint work on them but you would have to ship lights off and be without them for about a week.

Really well done all around! Will look even better when the window trim is completed.........are you planning on doing that yourself?

(Tow hooks are easy to pull off and powder-coat too)

Yeah going to do myself. Bought the black trim and got the install/removal instructions in this forum, hopefully get them on this weekend. Interesting on tow hooks. I was thinking about having them vinyl wrapped. I’ll have to look around on the removal process and do that myself as well. Thanks!

Let me know how it goes, i wanted to try it myself as well but the parts guy talked me out of it......said it needed to be done by a body shop. I also paused on replacing the door handles due to not wanting to take the doors apart and risk rattles and squeaks breaking the factory seal.....

Tow hooks were easy to take off and only $50 to powder coat semi-gloss black at my local shop, much better than wrap imo.

Is that a white overlay on your hood badge? Truck looks sick!

Okay I will let you know. Yes, I agree powder coating will be much better than wrap!

How did you deal with the chrome bumpers? I asked a local paint shop and they didn't want to deal with them.

I think you can vinyl wrap to match
Yes you can, but it will be dependent on you truck paint color. If you have black or bright white, that should be easy. However, I have Ivory and there is not a wrap for an exact match. I thought about wraping my grille but couldn’t find anything to match.
