A clear look at the upscale front end
These 2019 Ram spy shots were sent to us this morning from our friends at Spiedbilde.
Front End
This is our first look at the upgraded front end in the wild that was described in this article. This particular truck has been confirmed by our sources to be the Laramie Limited. Here we see a thinner headlight than the other trucks that have been spotted with chrome trim flanking the tops and bottoms of the lights. The Grille also intersects with the headlights in the bottom corners. The grille itself is also a different design with the “ports” being free standing instead of connecting with the edges of the grille. We also see a razor wire type design on the grille insert with the big RAM lettering in the middle.
Side view
The side view of these 2019 Ram spy shots show us a wheel design that we have not seen before on any other test trucks. We also see the chrome window trim as opposed to black rubber and what looks to be piano black b-pillar trim. Also evident is the chrome mirror caps and a new feature to Ram, power deployable running boards. The longer cab compared to current models is evident and this truck appears to be running the longer crew cab box.
Rear view
Here there is not much new to see. These are the same LED taillights that have been spotted on other trims. The tailgate and bumper top are covered possibly hiding the split tailgate and rumoured stowable loading ramps. We see the dual exhaust with parking sensors in the black lower bumper trim. Also evident are the side facing sensors for the active park assist system.
