Hey, I got a rude shock today. After waiting for months to get the software upgrade on my radio that enabled Pandora, today it turned off :/ I'm now getting a message that says "you need to upgrade your plan, call XM", and when I called them, they told me that 2019 RAM's are not entitled to Pandora, only 2020's. It worked fine for 3 weeks. It worked fine *yesterday*. Today it won't, XM says it shouldn't, and also (here's a kicker) claimed they had a memo in hand from RAM saying that it's not *supposed* to work on 2019 trucks. The fact that it did was a "glitch, if you don't like it, take the truck to the dealer". Argued for a 1/2 an hour and gave up. I'll get around to calling Uconnect and I send a pm to Ram Cares. We'll see what happens, not a happy customer.

It worked in my 2019 till my all access plan expired. I transfered my lifetime select and unfortunately the pandora isn't part of the select plan.

I have the all access plan, I spend obscene amounts of $$ on XM. What their services provide I love, their customer service sucks.

I had to renew about a month after the OTA update with all access. Still have service on my 2019..

Well not sure if it's because of the absolute fit I had with XM, or they just refreshed my radio and eventually it worked. But it's working now. The supervisor at XM clearly told me it wouldn't work on a 2019 truck, so not sure what's up with that. Another user here reported the same thing, so it isn't just me. Weird.

Can you tell me more about pandora? Is this through XM somehow in the truck now that they have merged? I have only seen pandora possible through my cell phone.

I got an update today, and right now my Pandora stations are missing. Pretty ****ty and I will cancel/refund my XM subscription if that's the case that they aren't coming back.

I pay for Pandora anyway so it easy to use that through Carplay.

So I just went back and looked. I have the email from XM toting the exciting news feature of stations by Pandora. It has my year, model and radio ID number in the email. I guess if it's gone after today's update I will have to cancel my service.

Please share that email! Or part of it anyway.

Make no mistake, if this feature is gone its Ram's decision 100%

So I just did some digging and found the pandora functions through the built in XM. This is a game changer for me. But I do see some odd behavior on XM’s backend right now, which is understandable for me (IT field) during an acquisition. However since your stations are missing, have you installed the app on your phone? This should give you a second way to manage your data. I found that I could add pandora stations through their app last week but I can’t do it now. I can however do it through the Uconnect and then manage as needed via app. Changes in either are reflected in both the app and Uconnect.

Yesterday when I checked the XM app, my Pandora stations were there, but not in Uconnect. Today, all my XM Pandora stations are now gone.

Where are you going to add them in UC? I'm 99% certain they removed the featutre for us.

I’m using the search feature to add stations.

It’s a 20, however since they are running the same software I’d be skeptical XM has any correlation to year of production. I can’t see why they would want to do that either.

Dude... seriously? The title of this thread is "XM Says Pandora only for 2020 Trucks"

We are specifically talking about an issue reported to only affect the 2019 trucks. What works/does not work on your 2020 is irrelevant to this thread.

I understand that. I was just trying to help by suggesting trying the app to resynchronize data with Pandora. Likewise, if we have the same software load, there are no differences.

This^ The only way they could prevent the 2019 trucks from having this is on the back end. At the end of day I would rather use the pandora app via carplay becasue you arent getting that highly compressed audio from XM.

Most likely they are confused between the different 2019 models... the new style like ours should work but the hardware on the classic versions might be different and not work. Within the new style, build date is almost arbitrary.... one month it’s a 2019, built then following month and it’s a 20.... same truck.
