Just wondering what other people’s experience has been with XD Wheels?

My truck only has 10,000 miles and is permanently garaged. I don’t work in the USA so it lives in there full time on a trickle charger, not like it sits in a car park at work or anything. I literally drive it a little when I‘m home and that’s it, back in the garage.
The problem I’m having is the red center cap rings have faded dramatically and very differently on each wheel. There is also a bunch of paint peeling off a couple of the wheels.
I’m pretty disappointed to be honest and I’ve never had aftermarket wheels deteriorate so badly for no reason.

They looked good when new.

That is pretty bad given the conditions. I have XD wheels on one truck and they are a little faded but we beat up pretty good, no complaints. I would contact XD.

I agree. I've had my Level 8's on for over 13k miles and they look good as new when they're clean. They've been through some rough weather. I had Black Rhinos on my Titan for 60k miles/5 years, and they looked a little faded. Paint never chipped or peeled.

I reached out to them but they've changed ownership in the last couple of weeks apparently. I just got an email address to contact but no response.

OP, sorry to hear that you are having issues with your aftermarket rims! Just out of curiosity, what type of wheel cleaner are you using? This could impact the finish...not saying that it has....just thinking about variables outside of manufacturing process. Hope you get a response and they help you get it sorted out!!

I only use Adam's Polishes stuff, which I've used for all vehicles including my M4 etc so not like I'm using Dawn dish soap on them or anything.

An update on this just in case anyone is following. After a bit of back and forth trying to find someone to deal with, XD wheels sent me to a local tyre shop to take photos and submit a warranty claim. They came back the same day and said they'd cover the wheels 100%.
Unfortunately, the same wheels were not available in stock so had to choose something different.
They are kind of growing on me, but I'm happy that they stood behind their warranty and replaced them.
