Would Readylift 3.5" SST w/o Preload Spacer & 5100's work?

Since Bilsteins lift via preload by raising lower spring perch could you replace the factory strut and RL preload spacer with the Bilstein 5100's set at 1.7" to gain ride quality? Since the Bilsteins 5100's are tuned for the preload and factory struts are not would ride quality improve?

I believe you could. I was going piece together my lift with New UCA's, Motofab 3' lift kit with the Bilsteins 5100
without using the spacer you put into the spring (rides on top of the sring/tower.
