Wonder what the production rate at FCA is.

When you see how long people are waiting and how many (all over the forums) it really makes you wonder what the factory output is right now. Anyone here work there?

I read an article about a month ago that said they were churning out around 65 trucks an hour, 20 hours a day, 6 days a week.

It's staggering! You're seeing statistically insignificant fraction on the net forums. For instance, there are 4000 members here. The production run rate was cited at a target of 1400 trucks per day and they were at just shy of 1300 per day three months ago. Delivery of trucks have been faster than the other makers overall. It's the specialty configurations they didn't expect the demand for - Ramboxes, eTorque, the big screens - suppliers can't keep up and are adjusting.

thank you for that information. I had heard they stopped taking orders until January. i will order mine the first week of January.
