Wiring aftermarket bed lights

Hey y'all. I've got some aftermarket bed lights to install. I've got a Curt wiring connector so I don't have to splice into the factory harness. My question is which wire goes to the positive and which goes to the negative? I've called curt but they aren't any help. Thanks in advance!

If you mean you teed into the 7 pin harness, black is hot, white is ground. https://www.etrailer.com/faq-wiring-7-way.aspx
