Hey guys, my passenger side wiper parks about 2 inches above where it's supposed to when it's off. The driver side is fine. How do I get the wiper to stop where it's supposed to? I've tried manually moving it to where it's supposed to be but once I run the wipers it goes back to being too high. I hate to drop it off at the dealership just to fix this.

Thanks

You're going to have to remove the arm and reposition it on the spline. There's probably a screw or nut on the top that you will remove. Then pull it off. Tight fit.

There's probably a YouTube tutorial if you search.

Unfortunately not for a 19. Looks like the 09-18 might need a tool they are so tight, my escape i was able to get it off just wiggling. I'll give it a shot and see. I was hoping how computerized the 19 was there was some relearn procedure

The two arms are linked. There is no relearn-- there's a park switch inside the wiper motor that tells it where to stop. So somehow you need to get the misaligned one off the shaft, run the wipers one cycle and let them park, and then reinstall the arm where you want it.

Hint: sometimes it's easier to turn ignition on, turn on wipers, then kill ignition with wipers up on the windshield. Then you can work at a different angle.

Thanks all, I was able to remove the nut and reposition it where it needed to be. The arms are on tight but just keep wiggling eventually it pops free, no tool needed.
