I been looking into getting a winch on my front end, don't want any goofy aftermarket or 3rd party bumper or mount hanging off the front end. Looks like @VICE design has that covered with the hidden mount setup. There is a lot of space behind the bumper, so a person could likely fit almost any winch behind there. The issue is then getting said winch to work, being "hidden" and all. The Warn Zeon Platinum would obviously be the best fit, but ****, its pricey! The VRs have accessories that make it work, but better winches could be had for a lil bit more money, the Zeon (non Platinum) seems to fit, but exactly are the options? What extra parts or components are needed? The clutch is surely manually actuated, so clutch relocation kit is a must, what is needed for wireless? Does it stay on full time or one has to reach in and connect or activate?
