Will the new tailgate be available after market?

From what some of the other members said it will not be available aftermarket because it requires an entirely different box than is already on the trucks without the tailgate

it's been stated numerous places, including auto show interviews with Ram personnel that the Split Tailgate will not be able to be retrofitted to existing trucks due to wiring, and bracing of the box and gate itself.
