Will it fit?

Hey all. I am looking to make my first online wheel and tire purchase but worried about fitment.

I have a 2020 1500 4x4 Laramie that is getting a Moper 2" lift with ORP from springs installed next week and want to run 20 x 12 -44 wheels with 305/55R20 (33x12) tires.

Is anyone running a similar set up or have any experience with anything close? I am okay with minor trimming but don't want to have to do any major surgery.

Thanks!

It will fit; but your wheel is going to stick WAAY out and make it look like you are a Silverado driver. You might want to check your state laws as well since some states will not allow the tires to protrude that far out of the wheel well. Personally, I would look for something with less negative offset; but that is a personal preference thing I suppose. Check out this link to see the difference: https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/. For reference, the stock wheels are +19 offset.

I had 20x10s with a -24 offset and 35s on my 13 Laramie w 6" lift and felt like the -24 was perfect.. Some people like a little more aggressive stance and that's totally cool but idk if I would go as much as -44 personally! -24 was aggressive enough and still slopped crap all over my truck ... Im pretty sure -44 with only a 2" lift would require quit a bit of trimming... I personally feel like a -44 or more is meant more for a 6" or bigger lift and kinda looks stupid on a truck that's not lifted that much, that's just my 2 cents though! Either way good luck, if that's the look you're going for all the power to ya and I'm sure you'll love it... But yes I believe you will have alot of trimming to do only going 2 inches and that much of an offset

Here is a link to my old 13 Laramie with -24 for reference... And the pictures don't really do it justice... It was alot bigger and a much more aggressive stance in person compared to how it looks in the pictures

That is close to what I am looking for. All of the pics I have seen of 5th gens on customwheeloffsets look similar.

Do you think 20x10s with a -24 offset and 35s would fit with the Mopar lift?

Yes... You might have to heat and bend or ziptie the splash guards back a tiny bit to avoid rub at full turn but that would be the most trimming I could see needing... Theres a guy on YouTube that showed exactly how he did it on his 5th gen super simple no metal cutting obviously

And yeah, those pics in the links you posted of the 5th gens look alot more like -12 and -24 to me... But I can assure you pictures don't do justice... My wheels on my white 13 Laramie def stuck out and looked alot more aggressive in person, but maybe the 5th gens have a deeper wheel well than the 4th gens, I have no idea but I agree on those pictures the blue one with -44 look alot more like my -24 did on my old pickup. Does your truck have the flares on the wheel wells?

I have 20x10 -18 on my 4” lift and I can’t imagine what a -44 would have looked liked on it.

I do have the factory fender flares.

puba08 made a good point though. I would rather have 12" wide tires on a 10" wide wheel.
