Why can't I get a transmission?

My 2021 Promaster 1500 dropped it's transmission with 15k miles on it. Now I need a replacement transmission but I learned that there are at least 4,316 other people looking for the same thing and none are being made. What's up? The transmission should be replaced under warranty - but no transmission to be found!

Promaster? Are you taking about a cargo van? If so, you are on the wrong in forum.
