I bought one of those wireless android auto thingy's to make life a little nicer. Works great and as intended, but now everytime I walk past my truck my cell phone tries to connect so that tells me the device in the truck is still powered up hours later.

I have it plugged into the USB port by the driver, not all USB ports support android auto though either since I tried to plug it into the port under my console lid and that one didn't do the navigation magic.

Is it just my truck or is everyone's like this?

All of them power down after awhile. About an hour I believe. It's been discussed on here many times. Specially about the wireless AA adapters.
