I keep forgetting to turn that stupid thing off, then when I hit the gas and nothing happens for a second I get really annoyed.

There is autostop eliminator and a similar doohickey from 4D Tech. Both $100. Any preferences?

I have one I’m looking to sell. Message me if your interested in buying. I have a Tazer now so no longer need the AutoStopEliminator. Only used it for a few month before removing.

I use the autostop eliminator.
Gives the button memory, worth every penny.
Got mine for $50 used on here.

Manual shift mode (+/-) will turn off MDS.

But does it really disable auto, stop, start?

I use the 5.7 non eTorque, doesn't have that silly start/stop thingy. LOL
Ditto on the non etorque. I have stock exhaust so I don't notice the MDS. A tune did away with it in my 300 until i do my cam later this month. If I change exhaust in my Ram I would do the tune delete.

You can tune out start-stop also at least with my i3.

6.2L Hellcat FTW. No MDS, no A/S/S!
If only I had an extra 25k...

V6's have never had MDS. Darksteel165 needs to edit that statenent.
Yea, I was being a smart ****. Us V6 gas guys are like the red-haired stepchildren around here when it comes to engine and transmission discussions around here. I do enjoy reading and learning about the 5.7 and all the other stuff common on both.

You've never felt it kick in and out of MDS?
You know, my MDS on the 1500 is totally seamless. With the stock exhaust I don't hear it. I sure don't feel it. If I turned off the indicator light I would never know when it kicked in.
