I've seen people install aftermarket ligjhts to address the leak so wondering what you guys recommend?

Also, if I go OEM, anyone have a part number for the new one (I assumed the light has been updated to correct the leak?).

I know the dealer will fix this but I'd rather do it myself.

Depending on the model year and trim level...
I used this on my 2019 Rebel, the weather seal is serious compared to the original.3rd light.jpg

I was having this same debate and ended up just replacing mine stock one with a new OEM stock one. I did upgrade the reverse/cargo lights to two LED bulb replacements which I got at NAPA for like $20. The actual housing was only like $40 from the dealer. I don’t believe there is any “fix” or “upgrade” that could tell from the original one. The weather striping on the new one was just in better condition due to not having been compressed for 4.5 years. Overall, the new one felt like an upgrade with the new bulbs and only cost $60 instead of several hundred.

Ha looks like your doing the flowable sealer treatment. Did you apply it pre-emptively or did you have a leak? Also did you apply any sealer above the sliding window (Below the third brake light)?

Had a leak. Did the full top. Got it stopped. Eventually ended up having the back window replaced but for an unrelated issue with the slider.
