on my 2020 ram limited when cold the rear right outside handle won’t budge. When I did get it to pull, then the rear door would not latch shut. once I put it back in my heated garage and it warms up, then it works normally. Is there a known issue and/or a TSB for this issue? Only happens when below 32F. Guessing there is water in the door latch cable freezing up.

Leave it in the heated garage for a day or two and if it's water, should evaporate out. Could also try spraying some WD-40 in the latch. It will push out any water that might be there

Other than door seals sticking I’ve had no issues. I’d give everything a shot of silicone lubricant and see if it helps. Definitely sounds like water where it shouldn’t be.

My doors stick like hell. Rear worse then the front.

The water gets in around the seal and sits and freezes up. Really poor design.

When I open my rear door I will have a 2-6 inch long (thin) piece of ice sitting above where the seal is.

During the summer I will get a SINGLE drip of water on my rear and front seat when I open my door and there is nothing I can do about it.

With that said I never had a problem with the handling opening the door, just it being plastered shut. but nothing a good yank couldn't fix.

Like others said try wd40 or silicone. I live in MN and have never had any issues with my 2019 or 2021 doors sticking in temps as low as -30° so it is likely an anomaly. If it keeps happening possibly an issue.

If you search this forum, I believe there is a thread that discusses water getting into the cable sleeve that runs between the latch and the inner handle, and then freezing in a low section of that sleeve

^^Yea, what HemiDude said.^^

Might want to vasoline your door seals.
You obviously live somewhere that gets both Rain and then, soon after, a Freeze.

Good luck on fixing your issue and do come back adn let us know you got it and how you did it. Might help another guy, down the road.

ive read a thread on this forum about his, try to search it out, but if i remember right, it was the exact same problem, and could not latch after, and even more i beleive it was on limited truck as well... the guy had a rod change in the door or something because it was afffected by temperature
