Does anyone know the purpose of the white plastic box on the passenger side of the engine, under the hood?

It appears to have some cables going to it. Is this one of the body computer modules or something else? I saw it the other night and wondered its purpose.

I didn't snap a picture but it's pretty easy to see there behind the right front wheel well if you open the hood.

Pic?

One of the many power connectors. Just like all the grounds, I lost count on my Rebel after seeing 10+ in the engine bay.

Yes but for what?

It's not grounds here.

It appears to be a soft mounted box to absorb vibrations. Simple connections don't need vibration isolation. There must be some sort of electronics inside this box.
