Simple enough. Look like soft stops for the suspension?

Something made them brittle like dry rot or sub-par manufacturing. Looks like it would crumble between your fingers

You buy it used? Maybe it's a hurricane or tornado survivor rig.

Pretty sure a hurricane/tornado would destroy more than just the bump stop lol.

Look at how little rust is down there. 1 season in MT and our undercarriage looks 10x's worse. Simply dry rot. Not the end of the world. Order a new set and be done with it.

Is there a corresponding front set? I took a quick look but didn't see something similar
im sure there are but unless your willing to disassemble the front struts your not replacing them easily. If your fronts are rotted out then yea, otherwise id just replace those rears. They simple pull down and to the side to pop out....or crumble out in your case. Then the new ones you push up and sorta rotate as you push and theyll pup in. A little spit (gigidy) helps lubricate them on their way in and doesn't leave a long lasting residue like soap or other lubricants.
