I DONT THINK ANYONE CAN ANSWER THE "WHY" BUT HERE IS A REPLACEMENT/UPGRADE!Why are they both broken? 5 years old and 58k
do you do a lot of offroad and bottom out a lot? or carry heavy loads? Why are they both broken? 5 years old and 58k
You buy it used? Maybe it's a hurricane or tornado survivor rig.
Gulf Coast truck, never been on a salty road . Just moved back to the Midwest so that'll change...Look at how little rust is down there. 1 season in MT and our undercarriage looks 10x's worse. Simply dry rot. Not the end of the world. Order a new set and be done with it.
im sure there are but unless your willing to disassemble the front struts your not replacing them easily. If your fronts are rotted out then yea, otherwise id just replace those rears. They simple pull down and to the side to pop out....or crumble out in your case. Then the new ones you push up and sorta rotate as you push and theyll pup in. A little spit (gigidy) helps lubricate them on their way in and doesn't leave a long lasting residue like soap or other lubricants. Is there a corresponding front set? I took a quick look but didn't see something similar
