What am I doing wrong?

Recently bought a 2019 1500 Lone Star & cannot get the tailgate to open. When I engage the tailgate lever (behind the rear camera eye) something is moving on both ends, but it does not unlock. Is there an electrical switch somewhere in the ****pit that needs to be activated first? The owner's manual is no help.

What am I doing wrong?

2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn Tailgate won’t open

I just got my Big Horn in September, and my tailgate just suddenly stopped opening. I tried locking and unlocking several times, and it seems to just be stuck in the locked position (or just closed). Anyone else having this problem?
