Hi guys & dolls,

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer. Took a trip with my daughter up to our summer oasis and hit our annual hike. The road to the mountain was unreal. Very large rocks jutting out by the dozens, large ravines compounding the navigation, and large undulating moguls, and one long drop over a drainage pipe in the middle of the woods that had one side entirely washed out by the assault of our seasonal rains this spring

The truck did fantastically well. I was sure we would hit some of the rocks which were abundant, as in very few feet of road without large 2-3ft rocks kicking out. Only one light connection and did it all in 2wd without lowering the tires psi (Faulken A/T)

Prior to the trip I had my first oil change. 4K miles. I like my dealer although there is room for improvement. After we returned from the mountain and being tossed around like a skiff in white caps, I checked the undercarriage.

It looks like there was considerable oil spilled and it drained out of my skid plates. Wasn’t sure it was from the oil change but after cleaning it up and getting under the truck I’m sure of it. Not thrilled but it happens

Anyway super impressed by the truck and the OR package

Best wishes to you all,

HHS

Nice! We need more pics of off road excursions around here.

Yeah we will go back up and I’ll get some pics or video but it was NOT soft roading. Any Jeep Rubicon would have been proud to tackle this track. It wasn’t Moab but it rough, hardcore, muddy, with considerable articulation
