Water in 2019 RAM 2500 Diesel Hood

I have water accumulating in my 2019 RAM 2500 Diesel hood. When I open the hood after a big rain, water pours out of the hood near the hinges. Some blogs suggested this is due to a poor seal on the 2500 hood emblems. Suggested fix is to drill a weep hole in the underside of the hood. Any ideas on this suggestion and where the best spot might be?
