Last night it rained hard. I opened the door today and saw small amount of water on the floor mat. Maybe from when I got in from the store. Today there was no sun and cold outside. So water didn’t evaporate I said. But around the window, the plastic part, there was some water. Ok both sides of the front seats. Is this normal? I can see the weatherproof seal being wet and the colored paint jamb but not the plastic around the inside window.

Same thing. Had a ton of rain and I opened the driver’s side passenger door and a bunch of water poured out of the upper corner where the front and rear doors meet and landed on my floor mat.

It's not just the 2019's, my 2014 does it too. It gets trapped between the door and the rubber. See they still have the same design so the 19's are doing it too:(

Yep. Same with my limited. It's a poorly designed way to channel the water. Everytime you open the door it comes pouring into the cab all over the seats or floor. It is what it is.

Mine doesn’t pour in at all when I open the door. It’s just a tad moist on the plastic part.

It mainly does it when it's not parked on a perfectly flat surface.

I’m having this issue with the rear drivers side door (crew cab). A lot of water and moisture inside the door between the seals and the painted jambs. When I open the door it drips large amounts all the hinges which is making them start to squeak. Any updates or fixes?

It's a design flaw. Can't imagine there will be a fix. I make sure I don't open the door if it's parked on an incline so the water doesn't come pouring into my cab.

Thanks. That’s what I figured. The shop said after a water test it looked normal. Normal for Dodge maybe, but water shouldn’t collect in the door the way it does in my opinion. I’ll just keep a towel under the seat I guess and wipe away the water as needed.

Exactly what I do. Just be mindful when people are sitting in the back seat. I've opened the rear door a few times only to have it pour all over their legs.
